Safe Software to Visit 45 Cities during FME World Tour

Safe Software, maker of FME, a leading spatial data transformation technology, has announced that its FME World Tour 2014 will commence on 27 March 2014 in Paris, France, and will visit over 45 cities worldwide. This series of events gives users of all skill levels the chance to discover all FME has to offer through presentations and interaction with FME experts and fellow users.

Each event will introduce FME technology with a general overview of its capabilities, and then explore more specific subject matter including FME 2014 highlights, customer success stories, best practices, and industry hot topics. The meetings will also provide attendees with access to assistance from FME Certified Professionals, and the occasion to network with FME users from other organisations.

This year has brought about a lot of exciting developments in FME’s capabilities, says Dale Lutz, co-CEO and vice president of development at Safe Software. The World Tour gives the chance to not only showcase the new features, but also to interact with users – both new and experienced – helping them sharpen their skills and use FME to its full potential.

The tour will pass through 18 cities in North America and an additional 28 locations in Europe, Asia, Australia and South America between the months of March and May. For more information on locations, dates and registration visit www.fmewt.com.

Safe will also be hosting the FME International User Conference 2014 in Vancouver, Canada, from 10 to 13 July 2014. For full details visit www.fmeuc.com.

The call for presenters for both the FME World Tour and FME International User Conference is open until 5 February. Users with FME stories are encouraged to submit an abstract.
