Department of Geology, Aligarh Muslim University is organizing 12th IIRS Outreach Program

 The Department of Geology, Aligarh Muslim University is organizing 12th IIRS Outreach Program on “Microwave (SAR) Remote Sensing for Natural Resources” in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing, Indian Space Research Organization, Department of Space, Govt. of India, Dehradun for faculty members, research scholars and PG students.
Dr. Liaqat AK Rao, Chairman, said that the course will commence on February 3 and will conclude on March 29, 2014. He said that the course is open to all teachers, research scholars and PG students, however, preference will be given to those who have basic knowledge of Remote Sensing, GIS and GPS.
Dr. Rao said that interested candidates may apply on prescribed forms available in the office of the Chairman of Department of Geology. Duly filled forms verified by the Chairman of the respective Department should be submitted during working hours on or before 25th January, 2014.
